TIL a customer's dog is a better sausage critic than their owner
Honestly, I was at the counter in my shop in Boise last Tuesday, handing a guy his order of my new apple-maple breakfast links. His terrier, waiting in the truck, started barking like crazy. The guy joked, 'He knows good stuff,' and tossed him a whole link. The dog caught it, chewed twice, then just dropped it on the seat and stared at us. Ngl, that silent rejection hurt more than any customer complaint. Anyone else ever had an animal totally trash-talk their work?

Oh man, that's brutal! I always figured dogs would eat anything, you know, like a free pass for taste testing. But that story, a dog just giving up after two chews? That's a whole new level of honest feedback right there. It's like they have zero filter, which is kinda scary. Makes you rethink the whole "happy dog, happy customer" idea.

Maybe @jamie_allen9, but a dog's taste test isn't exactly a full review.
