Found an old cabinet shop on a New England drive last fall
I was passing through and saw this tiny workshop still using hand tools. The guy there showed me joints cut without any power saws. It took me back to when my dad taught me with just a chisel and mallet. These days, it's all about speed and precision machines. Still, there's something special about the old ways.

People get really worked up about the old way of doing things. Modern tools are just better and faster for most jobs. It is nice to look at but not really how things get built now.

No way, joints cut without any power saws? That's wild. Crazy they still do it all by hand like that.
