Framed plywood or solid face frames, which is the better call for a big kitchen job?
I just priced out a 25-cabinet kitchen in Austin, solid poplar face frames would run about $400 more than using 3/4 plywood strips. I went with plywood on the last two jobs and they held up fine, but I'm second-guessing if a customer who's paying top dollar will notice the difference down the road. Anyone else switch sides on this after a difficult install?

Man, I feel you on that, it's a tough call when the customer expects top quality.
