Heard a guy at the lumber yard complaining his drawer fronts were bowing after a month
He was blaming the wood, but when I asked, he admitted he'd been using 1/4 inch ply for the backs and skipping the center guide on his undermount slides. That's a guaranteed warp. Anyone have a go-to method for keeping wide drawer fronts flat?

Add a solid wood back rail.

Saw my buddy's kid lean back and snap one right off.

Yeah, "snap one right off" is the exact phrase my neighbor used when his deck chair broke last summer. I read a whole article about how that lean-back pressure is the main point of failure on those cheaper plastic chairs. They said it's not just the back legs, but the weak spot where the back connects to the seat. Makes you wonder why they still make them that way.
