That cheap router bit set finally bit me in the wallet
Picked up a 20 piece set for $35 last spring to save money on cabinet edge work, and yesterday the bearing on the flush trim bit seized mid-pass on a cherry door... tore up the whole edge. I've since spent $80 on two decent bits from the local supplier for the jobs that actually matter. Anyone else learn this lesson the expensive way, or do you just accept the cheap ones for one-off work?

Man, buying cheap tools twice always costs more than buying good ones once.
