That fancy Blumotion hardware I bought 5 years ago finally gave out

I spent around $120 on soft-close drawer slides for a custom kitchen build back in 2019 and they started sticking last month. Saved me from slammed drawers for years so I can't complain too much, but has anyone else had these wear down after a while?

Same here, mine started dragging after about year six and got worse quick.

Realized I was letting it sit stale way too long between drives. Started taking it out for a short trip at least every couple weeks even if I didn't need to. That regular movement kept everything lubricated and the battery from dying on me again. Also gave the whole thing a good clean and lube on the chain and cables, made a world of difference. Sometimes it's just those little maintenance habits that slip away from us.
