That week of oven casing raises in July still haunts my back
Had a job out in Medford last month where the client wanted 14 identical oven cabinets with 45 degree mitered fronts. Every single piece of maple ply had to be cut, banded, and sanded within a half millimeter or the whole bank would look off. By Wednesday I had redone three doors because my digital caliper kept drifting after the bits warmed up. The kicker was the 11th unit, I caught a chip-out on the lower edge right before glue-up and had to run a new panel at 6 pm. Anyone else find that long runs of repeat work make their tolerances slip worse than mixed jobs?
