Finally got a clean pull through a packed conduit in the old downtown buildings
Last Thursday in the historic district, I had a run of 200 feet through a conduit that was already holding power lines. I used a Greenlee fiberglass push rod and a lot of fish tape lube, taking it slow around each bend. When the mouse finally popped out the other end without a single snag, the building super just said, 'Well, that was quick.' Anyone have a favorite lube for really tight, old pipes like that?

Nice! That's a great feeling. I swear by that yellow Ideal gel for the really crusty old runs.

Is it really that deep though? A little elbow grease usually does the trick for me. Maybe I just haven't hit the really crusty stuff yet.

Yeah, that yellow stuff is a lifesaver for sure, @reese86. Nothing beats finally getting that old gunk off.
