Found a use for old RG-6 scraps after a job in Portland last week

I was coiling up a bunch of leftover coax from a 12-unit apartment build and saved about 30 feet of short pieces. Used them as pull strings for fishing through tight conduit, (way better than buying those expensive fiberglass rods for small runs). Anyone else repurpose scrap like this?

Coax scraps make great pull strings, I've done the same thing a few times. Saves a trip to the supply house for those fiberglass rods when you just need a short run. Your mileage may vary but it's worked fine for me.

RG-6 is 75 ohm though, not 50 ohm like RG-58, which matters for signal runs lol.
