Just checked my first install from 5 years ago and the numbers blew me away

I was going through old records last night and saw that my first big fiber drop at a warehouse complex had 0 service calls in half a decade. Has anyone else gone back to look at old jobs and been surprised by how well they held up?

Have you noticed how the simple, careful work from years ago often outlasts the rushed jobs we see today? I've been in enough homes to see that if you take the time to do it right the first time, you rarely have to go back and fix things later. It seems like a lot of modern work is built to pass inspection once, not to hold up for five years without a single complaint.

You ever notice that old wooden barns are still standing while new ones sag after a few years? @olivers28, that's exactly what my grandpa used to say about the houses he built in the 50s - they're all still solid, no callbacks needed.
