Tried using a Klein impact driver for CAT6 terminations and it was a disaster

I had a big job with 48 drops last month and thought I'd speed things up with my impact driver instead of a screwdriver on the jack covers. Stripped out 12 faceplates before I realized the torque was way too high even on the lowest setting. Had to run back to the supply house for replacements and wasted an hour. Has anyone else found a power tool that actually works for terminating without wrecking the hardware?

@sarah198 Yeah twelve faceplates down the drain before I figured it out. Stick with a manual screwdriver for those covers, the impact driver is just too aggressive for that plastic. Torque settings don't matter when the hardware can't handle it.
