Walked into a new build in Mesa yesterday and saw a gangbox full of Staples-brand cable ties
Those things snapped as soon as I looked at them wrong, has anyone else run into cheap zip ties causing callbacks on residential installs?

Heard my buddy lost a whole rack because those things let go.

Oh man, I feel your pain on this one. I had a whole bundle of those cheap Staples ties break on me during a job last summer, ended up having to redo an entire network closet because they snapped and let cables droop everywhere. Callbacks are the ABSOLUTE worst, especially when it's something as dumb as bad zip ties. Stick with the 3M or HellermannTyton ones, they cost a bit more but they actually hold.
