Warning about those new 'quick fit' coax connectors from the supply house

I've seen three jobs in the last week where the new guy used those push-on connectors that don't need a crimp tool. Every single one failed a signal test within a day. The problem is they don't seat the center pin deep enough, so you get a weak connection that gets worse with any movement. I had to re-terminate all of them with standard crimps. Has anyone else run into this, or did we just get a bad batch?

Ugh, sounds about right. They're basically just expensive temporary connectors.

What brand were they? I've heard some are worse than others.

Yeah, some brands are basically just overpriced glue.
