Why does nobody talk about the weird surge in attic crawl requests in Phoenix this month?

Last week alone, I had three separate jobs in older neighborhoods where the only viable path for a new line was a 120-degree attic crawl over old insulation, something I maybe saw once a month three years ago.

Oh man that heat trap comment from @the_dakota is spot on... Phoenix attics in June are literally no joke.

My buddy at a different company in Mesa said he's had five attic runs this week. It feels like every old house in the valley is getting new fiber lines dropped in right now. That old insulation is the worst part, it just holds all that heat up there. I had to call it quits early yesterday because I started seeing spots. You have my full sympathy, it's a brutal new normal for the trade.

Yeah, that old insulation is a heat trap for sure. I did a similar run in Glendale and my boots felt like they were melting to the rafters.
