Ngl, that guy probably thinks his mirror will hold until he hits a pothole. But honestly, has anyone actually checked what happens when you glue a mirror and then try to adjust it? The force from the motor or even just pushing it by hand can crack the glue bond in a day. Plus, what about the wiring inside? Glue doesn't seal out moisture, so that whole assembly will short out fast. It's like people forget mirrors have moving parts and electronics now, not just glass stuck to a bracket.

What about the safety side of these quick fixes? That mirror could fly off on the highway and hit another car. @charles_chen93, duct tape on a tail light is one thing, but a mirror is a whole different level of dangerous. It's not just about the part failing, it's about what happens after it fails. People forget their bad repair job can hurt someone else. That's why hearing stuff like that makes me so mad.
