That week in March where every camera had the same shutter jam
Fixed 8 different models with the exact same issue, all from a batch of bad lubricant. Anyone else see a weird spike like that recently?

My buddy runs a rental house and he got 4 bodies back in 2 days with that exact jam last March. Turned out it wasn't just bad lube, it was a specific batch of lubricant that reacted with the shutter curtain material over time. The chemical reaction basically made the curtain stickier as it warmed up during use. We tested one by running it for like 20 minutes straight and the jam got worse the hotter it got lol. So it wasn't a random defect, it was a legit material science fail that only showed up after enough shooting time.

Wow, bad factory lube is the worst kind of problem. It's like a silent plague that hits everyone at once. Glad you caught that batch.
