Update: spent 4 hours chasing a light leak in a Pentax K1000 that turned out to be a hole in the shutter curtain the size of a pinhead
I burned through 3 rolls of film and a whole Saturday before I finally held the body up to my desk lamp in a dark closet and saw the tiny pinpoint of light coming through the curtain, so has anyone else had a light leak that hid from them for way too long?

A desk lamp in a dark closet worked, but you could have saved the whole Saturday by just shining a flashlight through the lens mount with the shutter open on B. The real problem was never the leak, it was the way you tested it, so pinning this on the curtain is letting yourself off easy. Next time start with the cheap five minute check before you burn film.
