Warning: my Leica M3 shutter speeds drifted after a CLA I did 6 months ago
The 1/1000th is now firing at 1/500th and I'm kicking myself for not checking it right away with my shutter tester. Anyone else had a CLA settle in weird after a few months and have to go back?

@matthewh28, I get what you're saying about variance, but a full stop difference at 1/1000th is actually a big deal. That's like losing half your shutter speed, which will show up as motion blur if you're shooting moving subjects handheld. I had the same thing happen with a Nikon F2 after a CLA - 1/500th was hitting 1/250th and I didn't notice until I started missing shots of my kid running around. The fix was sending it back to the same tech, who just tweaked the spring tension on the high speed drum. So yeah, take it back, and next time ask them to run a full speed test right after and a week later.

Wait, is 1/1000th firing at 1/500th actually that bad of a drift? I mean, don't most mechanical shutters have some variance after a CLA settles in?
