15 nights in a hammock changed my mind about tent camping

I swore by my tent for years. Thought hammocks were just for lounging around camp. Then I did a week straight in the Smokies last June. Hit 15 nights total before I came home. Totally sold on the setup now. No more dealing with rocks and roots poking my back. Just a good underquilt and a tarp overhead. Had one rainy night where I stayed bone dry while tent campers were packing up wet. Anyone else switch over after a long stretch of hammock use?

Hammocks let you camp in spots tents can't even go, like on steep slopes or over boulders. That alone makes the whole setup a game changer.

Wait but what about when it gets windy or rainy? Tents are so much more stable in bad weather, I'd be nervous waking up with the whole hammock flipped over or soaked through.
