A stranger at a Shenandoah campsite critiqued my stove wind guard, now I use rocks
She said my aluminum foil setup was basically a fire hazard and showed me how stacking flat river stones cuts the breeze better, has anyone else ditched fancy windscreens for free rocks?

Did I doubt the rock trick? Yeah, until my foil screen nearly torched a log.
