Fixing my busted camp stove instead of trashing it was a game changer

My propane stove quit on me during a hike, and I nearly dumped it for a new model. A friend helped me clean out the clogged jet and swap a worn valve for a few bucks. Now it fires up perfectly, and I realize how much junk we send to landfills over simple fixes. It's wild how a small repair can make you see gear differently, lmao.

My old backpack zipper blew out last year and I almost tossed the whole bag. Took it to a shoe repair spot and they fixed it for like twelve bucks, lol. Still using it today.

My old tent pole snapped last summer and I almost bought a whole new tent. Found a repair sleeve online for five bucks and it's good as new. @patel.parker is right, it's crazy what a cheap fix can do.

Man, that's the modern way for you. Break one tiny part and suddenly the whole thing is trash. Funny how a little elbow grease and a friend who knows what they're doing can save you a bunch of cash and keep junk out of the dump. Bet you felt like a genius after fixing it, even if it was just cleaning a jet. Makes you wonder what else we're throwing away that could be saved with a simple fix, lmao.
