That $180 tent I babied for 4 seasons finally bit the dust in the rain

Bought a lightweight 2-person dome in Portland back in 2020, kept it spotless, re-sealed seams every spring, and it still soaked through during a steady drizzle at Trillium Lake last weekend. The fabric just wore out from UV, no amount of care fixes that. Anyone else hit a wall with gear that should've lasted longer, or do you just plan to replace things on a fixed schedule?
