Vent: Sleeping bag liners seemed like a waste until last weekend.
I always skipped buying a sleeping bag liner because I thought it was extra stuff to carry. On a trip to the mountains, the temp dropped way lower than expected. My regular bag wasn't enough, and I was freezing. A friend had a liner and let me try it. That thin layer gave a big boost in warmth. Now I won't go camping without one.
