Blew $75 on a "free speech debate bootcamp" run by some grad student in Madison, learned nothing
Signed up last month for a weekend workshop that promised to teach how to handle getting shouted down during a campus talk. Turned out to be 6 hours of a guy in a hoodie telling us to "just stay calm" and "listen better," plus a $15 box lunch. The only useful thing was a handout with 3 phone numbers for actual legal aid groups. Has anyone found a real training for this, or is it all just people repackaging common sense for cash?
