Honestly, it's probably a smart move. Think about a grocery store putting milk in the back. It makes you walk past everything else. Or a hardware store hiding the lightbulbs. They want you to see the new, expensive stuff first. It's not weird, it's basic planning. They know exactly what they're doing.
