Professor in office hours said my paper on campus protests was too careful
Sat down with my poli sci professor last Tuesday to go over a paper I wrote about the 2024 encampments. She looked at me and said, "You wrote this like someone was grading your thoughts, not like you actually had any." I cut the whole intro and said what I actually think, and now I'm wondering if I should have been writing that way all along. How do you tell the difference between being careful and being scared?
