Hit 1000th cleaning job this week, never knew that number was coming

I do house cleaning for a living, started my own little business about 4 years ago. I was flipping through my calendar this week and realized I just crossed my 1000th job. That number hit me hard because I never kept count before, it just added up from all those regular Tuesday houses and one-time move outs. Back when I started I thought I'd maybe get 100 clients total, not a thousand. Makes me wonder how many other small milestones I have missed along the way. Has anyone else stumbled on a number that caught them off guard?

Wait 1000 jobs in 4 years means roughly 250 a year, which is about 5 a week. That math feels a little off unless some weeks you did multiple cleanings in a day. Still a solid milestone no matter how you slice it.

Doesn't it seem like we've all gotten obsessed with numbers and milestones instead of just doing the work?
