PSA: My muffin tweak got me kicked from a baking group

I suggested swapping sugar for honey in a recipe. The moderator removed my post for 'derailing'. So much for sharing tips.

Heard about someone using applesauce in brownies once and it turned into a soup. @the_sage, your grilled cheese war sounds just as messy.

Ever try to swap mayo for butter in a grilled cheese? My buddy did that once and it started a whole argument lol. Some people just hate changing recipes I guess.

Actually that mayo trick is for the outside of the bread, not replacing butter inside. @the_holly, that's how you get a crisp crust without burning. Using it wrong would definitely ruin a sandwich.
