Vent: Dropped $800 on a professional resume rewrite and my family called it a scam

They all said I was wasting cash and should just use a free template, but it landed me three interviews in two weeks. Anyone else get pushback for investing in their career like that?

Gavin Clark is right that results matter, but did the people giving you pushback actually see the final resume or just hear the price tag?
