Got ghosted after a second interview and turned it around

I interviewed at a marketing firm in Portland two weeks ago, thought it went great, then they just stopped replying to my emails. I sent one polite follow-up and then started applying to other places right away, which got me an offer within 10 days. Has anyone else had luck chasing down a silent recruiter?

Let not every silent recruiter be a bullet dodged. Sometimes people get busy or have hiring freezes hit out of nowhere, and a polite nudge at the right time can reopen things. That quick offer you landed is solid proof that staying active and not getting stuck waiting pays off better than chasing ghosts.

Oh the silent treatment from recruiters is SO annoying. But honestly it's kind of a blessing in disguise because it shows you dodged a bullet with a company that can't even send a basic rejection.
