Interviewer told me to 'just smile more' at a funeral home job, I froze

So I had an interview last Tuesday at a small funeral home in Toledo. I dressed in black, practiced my serious face, all that. The guy interviewing me, he's the owner, looks at me for like 5 minutes and says 'You seem tense. The families we serve need someone warm. Can you smile more?' I literally froze because I thought he was joking. But he wasn't. So I smiled my biggest grin while he described their casket display process. I got the job offer but I'm not sure if that's a good sign or a red flag. Has anyone else gotten weird feedback during an interview that made you question the whole place? Should I take it or keep looking?

Ask them how they handle a grieving family member who's crying and upset. Do they also tell the widow to smile more while picking out the casket? That'll tell you everything you need to know about whether this is a them problem or a you problem.
