Unpopular opinion: that $1,500 coding bootcamp was the best money I ever spent

I dropped $1,500 on a 12 week bootcamp back in 2022 when I was washing driveways for $14 an hour in Tampa. Six months after finishing I landed a junior dev job making double what I was making, and I still can't believe how many people told me it was a scam. Did any of you take a gamble on a course or cert that actually paid off, or did I just get lucky?
