Finally bit the bullet and went with a Japanese pull saw for dovetails

I was stuck between my trusty Western back saw and trying a pull saw for a year. Used the pull saw on a walnut box last week and the cut was so clean I barely needed to pare. Anyone else switch and have it just click?

That clean cut is no joke, it's like the saw is doing the work for you. My only gripe is I keep forgetting it's a pull stroke and messing up the first cut lol.

I just put a piece of tape on the handle as a reminder.
