Had a day last week where everything just clicked

I was building a custom display shelf for a client in Portland, and Tuesday was just one of those rare days. The miter joints on the oak frame came out so tight I didn't even need filler for the first time in months. Every domino lined up perfect on the first try without any chiseling. Has anyone else had a build where all the cuts just seem to align?

Oh man, jealous doesn't even cover it. My last "perfect day" was when I cut a 2x4 exactly to the line I drew. Still talking about it.

Used to roll my eyes at stuff like this, but now I get it completely. That straight cut feeling is honestly up there with winning a free drink.

Man, that straight cut feeling is legit! What worked for me was starting with a fresh blade in my saw and taking it real slow through the cut. I even snapped a pic of my last perfect miter joint, still proud of that one lol.
