Lost half a day to nail gun misfires before I found the real problem
Was framing a shed out in Modesto last Tuesday and my nail gun kept dry firing every third shot. Swore it was the compressor pressure, tore the whole thing apart, then realized the nail strip was sitting crooked in the magazine. Has anyone else had a jam like that waste more time than it should?

Man, tell me about it. Spent a whole afternoon on a fence line once, same thing. Kept thinking it was the air hose, swapped fittings, the whole deal. Turns out the little plastic follower in the mag was worn down and letting the strips tilt. Drove me nuts. Felt like such a rookie mistake after all that time. You always check the simple stuff last, right?
