My router table fence was off by 3 degrees for 2 years

Finally checked it with a digital angle gauge after a janky dado joint on a walnut shelf, and I've been blaming my bits this whole time, how often do you guys actually square up your fences?

Checked mine after a buddy found his fence was out two degrees for a year.
