Spent $60 on a laser level, wish I'd done it 8 years ago

I finally broke down and bought a self-leveling laser after fighting with a spirit level on a long wall cabinet install last Tuesday. The thing paid for itself that same day when I had to mark 14 stud locations across an uneven ceiling. My old method was string lines and a plumb bob, which took twice as long and still ended up off by a quarter inch. Anyone else resist buying one of these for way too long?

You ever spend 8 years telling yourself a plumb bob is good enough, then use a laser once and feel like a caveman who just discovered fire? Yeah, that was me last weekend.
