Took me 3 years to admit my framing square was bent
Been using the same Stanley square since I started framing back in 2021 near Eugene. Last week I borrowed a buddy's new Swanson and suddenly all my marks were off by maybe 1/16 inch. How often do you guys actually check your squares for square?

How are you three years in and just now checking your square? That one sixteenth adds up fast when you're doing rafters or walls. I'd rather catch it early than find out after cutting a whole stack of studs.
