A customer in Tampa told me her last guy "prayed" the seams shut, and now I can't stop thinking about it
I was measuring her living room on Tuesday and she casually mentioned her last install guy never used a seam iron, just "prayed them flat" and left. Sure enough, I pulled up a corner and the seam was already fraying, plus there was a wrinkle near the slider that felt like a speed bump. She paid him $950 for that room alone. I keep wondering how many other folks out there are living with seams held together by hope and a kicker. Any of you ever walk into a job where the last guy's "technique" was basically a prayer?
