Changed my mind about power stretchers after a job in Fresno last month
I always thought knee kickers were fine for any room, but a 20x30 living room with uneven concrete slab had me fighting wrinkles for hours. A senior installer showed me how to adjust the power stretcher head to grab the padding too, and I finished the next room in half the time. Anyone else switch tools after a rough job and kick yourself for not doing it sooner?

Power stretchers are a game changer once you figure them out. That Fresno job sounds miserable but at least you learned something valuable. I switched after a similar nightmare with a high-pile carpet that just would not lay flat. Knee kickers are fine for closets but that's about it in my book. Once you go power stretcher you never go back, simple as that.

The 130 degree attic in Fresno is what gets me. I've sweated out some hot roofs but that's a whole different level of punishment. Respect for sticking it out and learning the power stretcher lesson through that kind of misery.
