Just overheard a builder say carpet is "easy money" and I couldn't stay quiet

I was grabbing coffee at the supply house on Elm Street yesterday and heard a general contractor telling a homeowner that installing carpet is quick cash with no skill needed. I butted in and asked if he had ever stretched a seamed hallway correctly, and he got real quiet real fast. Anyone else get tired of the attitude that our trade is just the simple stuff?
