Just realized I'm 0 for 7 on measuring room widths correctly this month lol

I've been installing for about 5 years and somehow botched the width measurement on 7 straight rooms in September, costing me about $200 in extra material and trips back to the warehouse. Each time I thought I had it right but the wall was crooked or I forgot to account for a bump-out. Anyone else have a run of bad measurements that made you double check everything twice?

My tenth room this month had a weird corner that threw me off by almost four inches... ended up having to recut a whole sheet of drywall. I measure twice now and still find myself standing there staring at the tape like it's gonna give me the right answer the third time. It's those damn bump-outs that get me every time, they sneak up on you when you're rushing.
