My boss in Phoenix swore by a 4-inch seam gap for years, and I finally pushed back
Switched to a tight 2-inch gap after a job in a high-traffic hotel lobby, because the wider ones kept telegraphing through the pad after a few months. Anyone else find that old-school spacing just doesn't hold up under commercial wear?
