Power stretcher vs knee kicker, I was a knee kicker guy for 8 years
I always thought power stretchers were overkill for residential rooms. Last month I had a 16x20 living room with really thick plush carpet and kept getting ripples near the walls. Tried the power stretcher my buddy let me borrow and it laid flat perfect on the first try. Has anyone else made the switch later in their career and regretted waiting so long?

Honestly, I read a pro installer say it's a game-changer for preventing callbacks on plush carpet.

Wait @cole_davis47, have you actually tried it on a thick plush carpet yet? I've seen those things trap moisture underneath and cause more problems than they fix.
