I finally found the banned version of that kids book my school hid

Last week I tracked down a 1980s copy of that Roald Dahl book from the UK that got edited here in the US. The original had all the mean jokes the school librarian used to cross out with marker. Has anyone else hunted down an uncut edition just to see what the fuss was about?

Buddy of mine from college tracked down a similar uncut copy once. He said half the fun was seeing the librarian's actual marker strokes still visible in the margins of the old school version. Took him months of flea market hunting though, so good on ya.
