My attempt at a banned book display for the library board meeting went hilariously wrong

I was setting up a small table with a few censored classics last Tuesday, and the main poster I'd made for 'Fahrenheit 451' fell right off the easel, tearing in half. I had to tape it back together while the board president was talking about the new carpet budget. Has anyone else had a public presentation about censorship get derailed by something silly?

That's how it always goes. The serious stuff gets upstaged by some dumb, broken thing.

Sometimes the broken stuff is more interesting though.

You ever try just ignoring the broken stuff and focusing on what matters? That's what I did last month with a project. Had a whole day planned for serious research, but then my laptop fan started making this awful grinding noise. Spent an hour trying to fix it instead. Ended up just putting it aside and switching to a notepad. Got more done in two hours than I would've on the laptop. Sometimes you gotta work around the broken stuff instead of fixing it.
