My local library has kept it on the shelf for years, which I'm glad about. I get why some places might pull it, but hiding books just makes people more curious. It feels like a bad move that backfires every time. I found my copy at a used bookstore for two bucks, no trouble at all.

Best way to get people to read something is to say they can't have it. Libraries trying to hide books just turn them into underground hits. I swear some of these banned books sell more copies after the ban than before. The used bookstore score for two bucks is the real win though. Probably still has the original checkout card from 1987 stuffed in the back.
