Warning: A museum in Warsaw quietly removed a painting last week
I was there on Tuesday and a guide told me they took down a 1970s piece about government protests. The wall label just said 'temporarily unavailable' with no other info. Has anyone else seen art vanish like that in their city?

That kind of quiet removal is always so suspicious. Makes you wonder what pressure they were under to take it down without any real explanation. Seen it happen before with political art, where it just disappears into storage forever. The "temporarily unavailable" note is almost worse than just an empty wall, because it feels like a lie.
