Was surprised how many classic comics got banned in the 1950s

I was reading about the Comics Code Authority from 1954 and found out over 200 titles got pulled from shelves just in the first year. Stuff like EC Comics, which made Tales from the Crypt, basically got wiped out because of one Senate hearing about juvenile delinquency. It's wild to think censorship from that one group basically killed off an entire genre of horror comics for like 20 years. Anyone know if any of those old issues survived or got reprinted?
