Paid $75 for a takeout app 'free trial' that quietly ate my gift cards

Ordered from a spot near me in Sacramento through a delivery app and got hit with a $75 charge after the 30 day trial ended without any heads up. What really ticked me off was their help page about cancelling was changed after people complained, and I grabbed screenshots before the old version got wiped. The old text clearly said you had to call a phone number, but the new one says you can cancel right in the app. Wayback Machine still has the original page up, and I saved both versions side by side. Did anyone else screenshot a company quietly editing their own refund or cancel rules? I want to see how often this happens.
